I don't know if this is relevant but here is my personal experience. I purchased a D-Link G-Extreme 52mbs card that can do 100 mbs. The card is a PCI D-LINK DWL-G520 card. I use an ADD-HOC network with a Linux Server with a DWL-520 (11mbs/22mbs) card and a Windows Dell laptop with a DWL-620 (11mbs/22mbs) PCMCIA card. All works well.
I installed the OrangeWare IEEE-802.11a/b/g driver Mac OS X 10.3.5 D-Link DWL-G520 PCI Card All works great. I can not belive apple never released a PCI card for the B&W and Yikes Systems. Lazy Buggers. The OrageWare driver cost $15.00 USD which is a STEAL!!! Brian -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
