Switch from Show: Network Status to Built-in Ethernet select the PPoE tab, fill in the fields with Your provider/account settings (so You don't have to type Your password each time) choose PPoE Options... click under Session Options: Connect automatically when needed leave the other boxes unchecked, Advanced Options are both checked.
