How are you pinging?

In the Network Utility application there is an option to ping an IP, either ten times on continuously. ---
Do you think you need to ping every second?

There seems to be no way of controlling this, I was merely looking at the frequency of each ping and estimating every second... ---
How long a period would be adequate?

If you're talking about between ping I'd say one a minute

but if you're talking about for how long I'd like it to ping
I'd say all the time.

Do you know of a different app that will allow less
frequent pinging ?

Larry
