I just did a clean install of OS X 10.3 on my B&W G3 and I am trying to get classic on
it. When I try to run the OS9 installer form OS X it tries to start classic off the
cd but errors because it is read-only, if I boot off the OS 9 CD it says it can't
install because there is a newer version of Mac OS on the drive. I think I read some
where that I need 9.2.2 to install on Panther, is that true? I install CD is a full
version disc of 9.2.1 am I going to need to reinstall starting with OS 9, or buy a
copy of 9.2.2 to get this to work or is there another option?
