I haven't checked anything since I gave up last night (almost throwing the feckin' stuff out of the window), but I have since checked with the ISP (started as number 53 in the queue) and it seems that it's all to do with the 20 minutes needed for a new MAC address to come through...
It'll be interesting checking it when I get home.
