Sounds like it's setting itself to a default 640x480 on the monitor.

Question from Techno-dork, Last two days when I turn on my Beige G-3 with a Zif G-4, the view is super sized, from the start up icon to the text.
I have seen this once or twice before and then normal. I did everything I could think of Disk Warrior, Norton, zap pram, rebuild desktop all to no avail.
I gave up after 4.5 hours yesterday. When I turned on this morning all was normal. This evening it was giant size again. I once again tried all I could think of.
I was able to read messages only if I "edit page and print" there I previewed and could read and then delete that message. Got to be a real pain. I then tried "Print" directly from the header bar and was immediately knocked off line.
Trying to restart, the monitor got some crazy colors and went black. I fiddled back and forth and finally restarted and all is normal for now.
Long story for single question, what is going on? Thanks, Terrie
