My daughter is looking for a inexpensive yet good quality printer for her ibook.
She uses OS9
Any suggestions for her?
Epson and Canon both make good inkjets; stay away from Lexmark. The printers are cheap but lordy, they take an arm and two legs for the cartridges.
I've seen Lexmark printers priced at half the price of a replacement set of carts, and they DON'T ship with cartridges anymore.
HP makes a nice low-end laser printer for about $150, but I don't know if OS 9 is supported or not. I do know that OS X is.
