I bought a Canon i250 for $47 at CompUSA. It's not HIGH QUALITY print but gets the job done. It has a USB connection and runs well under OS 9 and X. Plus, you can't beat the price.

Any suggestions for her?
Anyone seen any deals out there lately?
Thanks!

Any low - mid range Epson Inkjet ought to suffice. I've had an Epson
Stylus 740 for seven years now and it finally needed a service a couple
months ago after flawless operation all that time. Turns out it was just
a bit dirty after seven years of no cleaning, so it's working fine again
after a professional clean :-)

Excellent little printer, though if I was going to buy a replacement
today I would definitely get one with separate colour ink tanks. Don't
get a model with just the one colour ink tank, they're more expensive to
run.
