As another long time Mac user I'll second that. I had to fix a PM 6500 the other day, and I couldn't believe how outdated OS9 is. It goes to show how long it has been since I used it. Since when is protected memory and preemptive multi-tasking "un Mac-like"? In a real first, even M$ was capable of that before Apple was, and it is an essential part of a modern OS.
