So why are there no (none, nada, zip) Macs within manufacturing, machine control, robotics, interfacing, accounting, pretty much all of engineering and soon science will be exclusivly Windows/Linux.
Hmm I seem to be using my Mac to do my accounting on. I just wouldn't trust my data to a windows based machine.
I did try Linux on it but I found it to difficult to get around and after crashing it twice decided to install XP on the PC.
I think you will also find that most machines are either controlled by PLC's which are programmed by PC's or at least thats how it is here in New Zealand.
Not to put the PC down though. Its a good enough machine as long as you don't want to connect to the Net. (Virus haven)
When installing XP I got 2 virus's before I could download the updates to XP and the anti virus program.
I had to reinstall twice in the long run.
