yeah, i try to watch the run ons, but it is how my mind works. though i fully
understand
it makes things less clear. i often check my emails and try to break those up.

as for adb, i've done it on a 7100 and earlier macs with no problems other than the
mouse
slow down on some, and there is a control panel or extension (haven't used it in
awhile)
to reset the adb bus out there. guess i may have been luckier than some. i have a
lot of
old macs and i've never seen a blown adb port, though part of that may well be that i
tend
to unplug and replug things quickly, most systems are far more sensitive if you move
the
connectors slowly though that may not be why i've been lucky. electronics have fixed
themselves before once i was called to fix them..... it's always amusing though
sometimes irritating.

just another reason to design my own electronic kvm soon that does things properly and
not
use the mechanical ones for too long, repairing things does become a bother rapidly
even
with skill and good tools (i've done a lot of electronics, and have a lot of metcal
equipment, some of the finest soldering/desoldering gear around and terribly expensive
anywhere but ebay where i buy mine, but having tried it where i worked i was ruined and
had to have some).

This is no different than what happens at the skull and bones initiation and we're
going
to ruin
people's lives over it and we're going to hamper our military effort, and then we are
going to
really hammer them because they had a good time. You know, these people are being
fired at every
day. I'm talking about people having a good time, these people, you ever heard of
emotional release?
You ever heard of need to blow some steam off?" Rush Limbaugh, Talking about torture,
we
can only
hope our enemies actually follow the Geneva conventions, though we've not given them
any
reason to.
