This can be summed up easily. also failure of hardware due to cheapness of components. Plus the hardware generally lasts longer.

Ever heard of NVidia, ATI, Hitachi, Seagate, Kingston etc. ?
Macs and PCs use THE SAME STUFF!!! Bar the processor/motherboard but even they are more than likely made in the same plants.

And with regards to the PLC programming its not that it can't be done on a mac its that the software has been written on a PC
THAT IS MY POINT!!!
