Okay,

All of this talk about OS X is giving me an inferiority complex. This is
not hard to do...seeing as how I am, admittedly, inferior. >:/

So I dug around a bit and:

Could you go into greater depth on this, perhaps? [wrings hands]

I know that the choice of OS is a highly personal one. There's no right or
wrong here, only what you choose to run on your box to do what you need.

Truth be known, I've always held the stereotype that OS X is overkill for
what I need to do. I have Unix experience, and as far as accomplishing
day-to-day tasks, it's like using a Howitzer when a handgun will do the job.

That being said, the talk of OS X's stability appeals strongly to me. And
yes, there is a real incentive to move to X because I want to reliably run
Mozilla. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate WamCom for what it is: a one-man
project designed to help us wring a bit more out of OS 9. Everyone has to
move on eventually; I just can't do it right now.

So, anyone care to help prop up my flaccid ego until I can make the switch?

James Fraser
