Most /266 Beiges were shipped with Rev. 2, while the last ones were shipped with Rev. 3, but even the /233 AIOs seem to be Rev. 3. (Early and "refurb" /266 Beiges are usually Rev. 1; all /300 and faster Beiges were Rev. 3). Normally, it is a good idea to leave your demountable devices (CD-ROM, Zip) on EIDE Bus 1, and retain your EIDE Bus 0 for non-demountable devices (hard drives), but the AIO's HD cable, just as with the MT and DT hard drive cable, has only one drive connector. Routing a new EIDE Bus 1 cable from the motherboard to the hard drive and then to a slave drive in the Zip bay would be a real pain. But it can be done, and I'm going to try to do it ... some day. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
