My recently acquired B&W G3/450, (Rev 2), arrived with an Apple OEM SCSI card and a 9GB IBM SCSI drive attached to the end of the SCSI ribbon cable. I recently added a 120 GB ATA drive in the rear position.

My 50 pin 18 GB Seagate Barracuda drive which was in an external case attached to my 8500 died, and Seagate replaced it with a 68 pin Cheetah of the same size. (model ST318406LW)

It would seem I could add this Cheetah to the middle of the ribbon cable inside this B&W G3, assuming that I set the ID properly and left it un-terminated. Is there anything else I should consider? e.g. Heat? Term Power?
