Didn't get any advice yet on this dumb question..Feel free to respond off-list as well...
Is this restore cd not the install cd for 9? I purchased this (probably unwisely for 5$ on ebay). When I tried to load up the 9.0.4 cd on a blank HD it would not install, saying that my machine was not configured correctly(duh). Purchased because I had heard of people having success installing an imac os on non imac machines (and it was cheap), in fact, my previous machine (7300/G4) came to me with imac version 8.6...
