IE on OS X is also dead. The final version is 5.2.3. Microsoft is no going to make any more version of IE for Macintosh. If your going to stay on OS 9, Netscape seems to be the best option. If your going to upgrade OS X, then Safari, Mozilla, and Camino are my top choices.

I have a G3/266 running O.S. 9.2.2 with Internet Explorer 5.1 installed. I
have recently visited the M.S. Explorer site and this apparently is the
highest I can go, given my O.S.
The number of sites that will not open or run correctly with I.E. 5.1 seem
to be increasing. Do I have any other option other than going to O.S.X?
