I have experienced overloading my B&Ws ADB port.
I am using an Apple full size keyboard and a Bus mouseII.
I purchased a Kensington Mouse in a Box USB/ADB. It uses an adapter to connect to the ADB port. The adapter makes it too long to plug into my keyboard so I plugged it into the open port on my ColorSync monitor and left the original mouse where it was.

It worked fine for a while then suddenly the new mouse wouldn't do anything. So I grabbed the old mouse. It would work fine for a while then IT wouldn't do anything.
I finally got fed up with all of this uncontrolled switching around and removed the Kensington mouse and the problem disappeared.

Seems if it is overloaded things quit working or don't work properly.

My 2 cents worth,

Tom Saecker
