But really, I didn't say that; it's not *my* logic. The issue is the simple application of the law. And the current law of the land / subject of this subthread, like it or not, is the DMCA -- which criminalizes intent and creates liabilities where normal humans don't think they exist. But then this isn't about normal humans. This is about paid-off politicians. *shrug*

If you don't like it, change it.  Vote.

Um, do you think we could get those politicians to ammend the DMCA to make top posting a crime?
