Well, someone correctly made the point that many of those Macs prominently placed in shots are likely paid for by Apple. But, I'm sure in many cases the loyal Mac user TV production types chose to show a Mac over a PC, and the Macs are there in use in the studios and production offices making them handy when a computer is called for on the set. And hey, two of my Macs are write offs! This iBook I'm on now travels with me on all my freelance TV entertainment and sports jobs.
