interesting, and another disgusting waste of public funds!  most of these people are 
only
using web apps, email, and word processing, and maybe spread sheets, i seriously doubt
many of them need more than a g3, but people seem to always have to buy the newest
computers available when a lot less would more than often be more than adequate.  none 
the
less it is interesting.  i suppose i'm glad to see people in law enforcement not 
running
windows (hopefully they aren't running virtual windows very often!) given the multiple,
huge, and chronic security holes windows and windows apps seem to constantly have.  i
wonder how the decision came about, i.e. are there actually programs they need that 
only
run on macs?  has the justice department recommended they switch to macs etc.?
