So will a DVR-108 go right in my Quicksilver without mods? I mean will the door open correctly or do I have to get some special model? ----------------------------------- I am pretty sure the CD door on the Quicksilver works just like on the previous models and is just a flip down front. (Correct me if I am wrong) You should be able to use any drive with out having to mod the system. If the drive has an oversized tray door, the Pioneer doesn't, you would have to slide the door off the tray to get it to work. I have been looking at getting a DVR-108 for a while now. www.newegg.com has them for only $74, I just want them to be natively supported for Finder/iApp burning, just because I'd rather not install patchburn. I will though if I get my G4 and DVR-108 before Apple updates OSX for it. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
