Don't know if this will help you but this is my story: A few years ago I bought a 9500/120 with a Maxpower G3/300/300, an ATTO ExpressPCI Dual-Channel Ultra/WIDE DC & DCd, 4 DataDock boxes, 4 Cheetahs and 4 Barricudas. OS 8.6 was installed. Worked marvellously! Mac was used for heavy prof. video-edit. One of our youngers thought: Last release is the best and installed 9.2.2. Shortly said: Nothing good anymore! I consulted the former owner (and a good friend) and he said: "I stayed with 8.6 because my Media100-version. But never install 9.2.2 when you don't have an OS X.x.x installed too. Always stay with 9.1 (maybe 9.2.1 for certain use)." Well, I went back to 9.1 on that Mac and all is OK now AND bloody fast. HTH, Jo -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
