You haven't used it in over a year...? What OS
version are you running? OS 9 and later automatically
installs USB card support drivers as long as the card
is in the PCI slot before OS installation.

Your memory is only half-right, Alex. Any
OHCI-Compliant card will work with *OS 8.1* as long as
Apple's *USB Card Support 1.2* is installed.
The first USB card I ever used was a Belkin BusPort
(Mac version) with OS 8.1, and it came with the driver
diskette which I still have. I've since used the 1.2
software on other Macs running 8.1 with no probs. It
should still be available for download from Apple's
site. Let me know if you need it and can't find it,
