having checked the parts database, no fan is listed for the plus, the 128/256/512K
macs. the se
however does have a fan. i guess i just haven't looked at my plus for a long, long
time (i do have
one in storage, and many other old macs). considering the plus doesn't have a fan,
i'll definitely
have to dig it out (and any 128/256/512K macs i have), being fanless makes it much
more useful for
some of the simple jobs i'd planed on using an se/30 for (though i still have the se
logic boards
from 2 machines i upgraded, and a stack of parts for the plus and se or se/30).

Why are republicans afraid of the U.N. observing our elections? Do U.S. citizens
deserve less than
those of other
countries? <http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article6505.htm> In many states
citizens still
have the option of
using a paper ballot, if they ask. I urge all voters to demand the right to vote on
paper and
create an auditable
election. There is something fundamentally wrong when voting machines are designed to
not provide
any physical record of votes.
