I agree with the Pouge suggestions. His books are informative, easy to follow, and sometimes quite humorous.

I'm preparing to upgrade to OS X after sticking w/ OS 9 all this time... I
was wondering if anyone out there in list-land has a favorite book that
helped them through the transition.

I've been elbow deep in Macs since System 6 and over the years I've relied
on the standard mac-press authors (Williams, Pogue, LeVitus etc) to keep me
up to speed.

For the most part the transitions until now have been kind of incremental
and I get the feeling that the jump from 9.2.2 to Panther is going to be a
biggie...

So... If there was *one* book I should buy, which one would it be?
