I looked more closely and what I had seen in the docs was the gimp interface
that requires Xwindows.  The whole thing is very confusing.  There is a gimp
program that is a unix or linix attempt at emulating Photoshop.  There is a Film
Gimp that appears to be a fabulus program for retouching high resolution
digitized film frame by frame, now ported to OSX.

But in general, i'm feeling kind of hopeless about printing in X.  Until someone
writes FULL drivers for our not so old printers we probably have no alternative
but os9.    

Has Epson done this for any of its printers?
