Does this mean you have to look up your model by opening up the computer? Not that I'd have to now though, because since you said that <The Beige G3 (DT or MT) was Gossamer> and my G3 is a Beige DT, now I know I have a Gossamer. :-) Thanks. <The G3 AIO was Artemis The B& W G3 was Yosemite The first G4 was Yikes (basically a B&W with a G4 chip) The next G4 was Sawtooth The Gigabit G4 was Mystic and Snakebite> Oh, so THAT's what all these names I've been seeing in here mean (short of AIO/Artemis: that one I never heard of even). I'd just read posts and when the poster would say which Mac he or she had, think "oh, this person has a G3 or G4 or G5," leave it at that, and even if I don't know all of the actual differences and specific technical capabilities of all these Macs, I did know that G4s were more advanced than G3s, and the same with regards to G5s compared to G4s.
