Dear G List:

I have a Power Mac G4 466 running OS X (v. 10.3). FTP access is enabled in OS X. I also have FTP access enabled on
my D-Link DI-624 router, which is part of my home set up. When I try to access this computer remotely using Fetch
or Fugu, I cannot establish a connection to this computer. It attempts to connect, but never completes the
connection. It simply hangs for minutes on end and I have to quit the program. But when I use the Terminal app I
can access my computer remotely without a hitch.

Any suggestions about what to do?

Roland :)

Could be something as simple as passive vs active ftp?
