Hello!
This is kinda off topic, but I didn't feel like joining another list for one question.
Anyways, I have a LC475. Obviously, it does not have an internal cd drive, so I use an external SCSI drive. Sometimes it mounts, sometimes it doesn't. I've tried changing the ID 1-6, but no luck. I even opened the case and temporarily attached it to the internal bus, but it was still iffy. I've noticed that under ASP, it recognizes it as a drive, but never mounts, after trying multiple disks. Sometimes the Apple CD-ROM extension does not load. I've zapped the PRAM. I'm using OS 8.1, 32 RAM.
