It could mean they are all bad.
It could mean they need reseating. Take them out and clean the connectors
with a pencil eraser, then firmly reseat them.
Bad RAM is more common than bad RAM slots. If you can, try the RAM sticks in
another Mac or try 'known good' RAM in the QS. Not a definitive test
however.
