It could mean they are all bad.I've been informed it is three beeps. So according to your key that means no RAM banks passed memory testing. Does that mean all of the RAM is bad, that the sockets are bad or something else? And how could one tell the difference?

It could mean they need reseating. Take them out and clean the connectors
with a pencil eraser, then firmly reseat them.
Bad RAM is more common than bad RAM slots. If you can, try the RAM sticks in
another Mac or try 'known good' RAM in the QS. Not a definitive test
however.
He could also try booting with first one stick and then the other, then repeat in a different slot.
