Not too clear on terminal at all but it seems to be something like a dos window, yell if I'm off base. On any pc you can see the mac addy and ip addy with just a short command and the parameter /all. Since OS X is unix based, wouldn't some unix command work there? I'll have to dig up one of my unix books to try this out but maybe one of the IT people can answer this.
