Thanks to the extreme consideration of one of the list members, I now have a fully functional G3 B&W running OS 9. I was overjoyed to boot up with the CD and have the OS installed. I have only begun to tinker with my machine, and I find myself reminding myself that this is not a PC. Unfortunately, I have been a Windows user for about 6 years and I am in that mindset and that will take some work to change. The only question I have right now is that I bought my Mac used from my college and wonder if I need to register it with Apple. If so, are applications available for download for free from Apple? Also, when installing the OS, I got an error concerning Airport....it wouldn't install that but allowed me to bypass it. Wil this pose any problem? If I weren't so bogged down with classes and work, I might find this stuff out on my own, but time is limited right now.
