Hello Again, How do I go about identifying the motherboard version in a beige G3 MT? LEM had information on how to identify the ROM version, but nothing on how to identify the Mobo.
I get the impression that people swapped the ROMs around on these pretty freely. I dimly recall that mixing/matching different Mobos and ROMs may not be a good idea. However, this may be simply due to the fact that I had a frappucino and powdered sugar donuts for "dinner" and right now just about everything seems like a Bad Idea.
