So that's 156 pages on Unix? The MM has under 50. To state the obvious, The MM's purpose is to address all the various issues involved with learning OS X, both from an OS 9 and Windows-experience pov. It's well organized, well written/understandable, and has a pretty good index - *plus* access to the on-line cd-rom material. It all depends on your need. If it's *only* to learn OS X/Unix, then you're right, but for someone wanting a good OS X ref, The MM is great. > it's only $20.00.
