Well, actual truth, instead of jingoistic BS would help.

Apple has manufacturing and assembly plants in a variety of places, including the US, Ireland, Taiwan, China, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, according to their last annual 10K filing. Portable products are made largely in Taiwan, China and Japan. My iBook says 'i was made in Taiwan' on the bottom.

Fuji makes good media because Fuji has a long experience *inventing* this technology, capitalizing on their long history of manufacture and r&d in film technology. Same reason Kodak digital media is superior. Same reason 3M digital media is superior (imo)

These companies have been doing this, successfully for a long time.
