Full networking requires pay software as far as I know.
But you can put free FTP server software on either the PC (eg Cerberus,
<http://www.cerberusftp.com/>) or Mac and easily send files back and
forward. Or if you can't be bothered with that, just email them. 

I find it saves hassles if you put files in ZIP archives before sending
between platforms; free software, like "ZipIt" <www.maczipit.com>  can make
and unpack zips on Macs.
