Have had to revert my work computer back to OS9 because of problems using classic apps and also continual disconnection problems on an os9/osx network.
Two things I miss very much are the dock at the bottom of the finder and the OS X windows with the sidewindow showing network computers, mounted drives and any shortcuts you want to put there. To me, the window feature alone is reason enought to switch to X but my company won't spring to upgrade all their application software, and I'm tired of Word and Quark crashing classic mode. If there's any third party apps that can accomplish the sidewindow view, I'd love to hear about it. As for the dock, I know there's launcher, but I'd like something a little more sophisticated.
