Do yourself a favor and ask for a level 2 (or better) tech straight away. You'll save yourself some time and aggravation. The level 2 that I talked to was very knowledgable, but I still don't consider the problem solved. I have very little faith in their hardware integrity, which I *never* thought I'd say about a Mac. At least if the problems continue past the one year warranty, I can get them fixed without a huge expenditure. I hope you're not a big gamer, because it fouls up a lot of the Open GL stuff, too. The only game I play with any frequency is Solitaire XL, which luckily is not very demanding so I play it on my TiBook. I looks like crap on my G5...
