Well, now I'm confused. Is it a DVD in the drive or a CD? There should be icons for each drive in the system. The icon for the DVD-R should show the icon for the CD volume underneath it.



And in your example above ( previously with web link pic provided, thanks) your iPhoto backup is a rewritable CD?


No, it's just an ordinary CDR, burned with iPhoto's backup. The Session1 thing shows up with every CD I've looked at, it may have something to do with my CD drive.
