Another spreadsheet/database that is wonderful is Panorama. I used to use it constantly at work -- it is very intuitive and now it is cross-platform. It uses RAM to do stuff (therefore very very fast) and making forms and stuff is actually fun. Their tag line is "The spreadsheet that thinks it's a database." I only used the bare essentials and absolutely loved it. Now, of course, my company has gone to the dark side and excel is the choice they made, YUK!
