Yeah, I was stunned. ALL of the rumors this time proved correct.

First there was the annoyance that the normal tv venues weren't carrying the keynote (Apple is so clueless). Then the news started to leak out, so annoyance gave way to being thrilled, etc.

And the specs on that Mini mac aren't shabby either; they support all but the really big cinema display.

They're so good, I've already got clients droolin for 'em. These are the same clients that switched to PCs over the past two years because the new Macs were too expensive and unreliable. Since they have the monitors, keyboards, and micies in place - this is an easy sell.

Then there's that other type of customer -- the first timers. These folx think the eMac is most bxtt-ugly heavy "thing" they've ever seen, and after seeing our wall of limp goose-necks, they ain't shelling out for a FP. They need full systems tho...

I'm fairly ignorant of the generic monitor/keyboard markets. Just started surveying the landscape - stores, Dell, eBay, etc.

You folx have some specific brand/model likes and dislikes, for *inexpensive* CRTs or LCDs, keyboards etc?

Thanks,
- Dan.
