Having attempted several of these installs I can tell you it's the B&W
2-4Mb video card's inability to run in 10.3 that is the problem.
Upgrading to the 16Mb ATI card that shipped with later rev's of the B&W
fixes the problem.

The ATI XclaimVRPro isn't the standard card for the B&W. I believe it
is, however, included in the 10.3 ATI driver set.
You've tried the Displays pane in System Preferences? Make sure to do
a 'detect displays' and then choose the appropriate resolution and
colors. If that doesn't work, try pressing the CUDA button on the
logic board. That should clear all the hardware settings and force
the machine to rediscover the physical components on restart.
