I just formatted the hard drive and made two partitions and then loaded a G3
Blue and White.

OS 9.22 on one 10GB partition

OS 10.3.2 on another partion 67GB

I booted in OS 10.3.2 and down loaded the latest HP print driver for OS X
for the HP PSC 1315 all in one.
The printer works find in OS X.

I booted in OS 9.22 and down loaded the latest HP print driver for OS 9 for
the HP PSC 1315 all in one.
I went into the chooser and selected the printer.
I created an Appleworks document to use as a test file to test the printing.
(I will be printing old appleworks / clarisworks files in OS 9.22)
The printer has an error message saying the print cartridge has been
changed.
I open the desktop printer and click past this message. (how do I clear this
for good?)
After the print cartridge message is cleared, I get a message saying there
is not enough memory for the desktop printer.
I added 1024 min 2048 max. I keep getting the same error.

These two errors, slow print times and slow all over performance are the
reason I reloaded the entire mac from scratch.

Are there any known problems with a G3 blue and white running OS 10.3.2?

Are there any known problems with a G3 blue and white printing in classic
mode with a USB connection?

Could this problem be an extension conflict?

Does any one have a G3 Blue and White with OS X and OS 9 and print from both
on a HP PSC 1315 all in one?

Thank you,

Steve
