I am looking at purchasing a larger LCD monitor for my G5 (27" or larger), any recommendations, Issues. I see the 30" Apple LCD requires a different video card (NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL), other options to this video card?

IIRC the new top end ATI card also drives the 30".

I am doing graphic design work but looking more for motion graphics work.

Space is a big consideration, little available for the foreseeable future, small studio/apartment.

well the 30" monitor is a true lust object, but if you can get by with less you can pick up smaller Apple monitors much cheaper. If you're OK with a conventional 19" lcd there's a big selection. Formac just dropped the price on their 20" and 22" LCD's as well.

How much space you need depends on what programs you use and your working style in those programs, but two 19" DVI monitors will give you a huge amount of real estate a lot cheaper than the 30" will.

How are the LCD Monitors with TV Tuner?

Expensive, small, and all that I've seen are VGA, not DVI. Getting an external TV tuner is cheaper.
