All,
My last post didn't contain a subject heading. Sorry.
Hello everyone, I have a quicksilver 733 with an after-market Pioneer DVD-R AO3 drive and a RAID Controller with three WD 120 gig drives on it. When I do When I do a cold boot the dvd drive opens up, shortly after the machine begins its normal boot process. I don't have any hard drives on the system ide bus. It looks like the machine is looking for the operating system and it first is looking to the onboard ide controller. Is there a way to have it stop from opening the cd drive on startup?
