I read your response to someone else's query. You stated it was repaired twice, the first time it sounded like a component was replaced, the second time the whole board. A component failure on the board could have damaged some other part which after some time could have failed. So hopefully a board replacement will fix it for good. A lot of this type of equipment only has the single board so replacing it is equivalent to a new (or refurbished) unit.

Thanks Clark. That's correct, the box came back to me the second time with a note saying that "the entire circuit board has been replaced." So yes, I have hope that it's fixed for good. But I just wanted to make sure that the problem wasn't something that I may have caused myself, such as starving it with an overly long power cord. I guess that's unlikely, thank goodness.
All this demonstratedt that Miglia is a very good company for warranty repairs, though. They answer e-mails instantly and do repair work fast.
