Venting and frustrated. Everytime I try and download Netscape 6.2 I am
taken to a download Netscape 7.2. This does not work with OS 8.6. What did
everyone do 4 or 5 years ago? I don't see that browsers have improved much
just became more top heavy.
Forgot to mention, when you upgrade the memory, overclock the processor to 300 Mhz. This will help until you can find a faster processor if that is what you want. I ran my beige at 266 using 10.2.6 and it was fast enough. Not as fast as this B&W 400 Mhz, but it would sure beat using MSIE on 8.6 I'm sure! Over clocking from 266 to 300 should be perfectly safe. As soon as I get the 450 Zif I bought on Ebay today, I will move my 400 over to my beige and I plan to run it at 466 Mhz. I think you will like X much better than classic, most people do.
