I'm seriously considering doing it for my son's 6th birthday when he's getting a digital camera.
It woud reside under the monitor and therefore not be a loose item on the desk.
It would house the PSU, one less dangling item.
A USB->ADB converter = Apple ADB I keyboard & mouse, indistinguishable from the original apart from a wider mouth.
